Voyeur
I wanted to try and practice on lines and composition. The window blinds was an obvious choice, but the lines being plain vertical and horizontal, the shot looked boring. So I added a little bit of interest to the photo.

Do you feel like eating this strawberry?
Trying my hand at soft lighting and product placement. Hope to emulate Ricks shots someday.

A feather too fine
Everytime I've gifted a bouquet of peacock feathers instead of flowers, I've run into rough weather soon after. Sad, how so fine a thing has been a harbinger of foul times.

Mirage
Yet another attempt at the tack drop. Sharpness and noise levels aren't there yet, but I'm pleased with the composition. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of the lighting too. Someday I shall have it!

Bug eye
Got several shots of this little monster, but this is about the only one that hides the dirty/cluttered background well. Had to use the flash - so couldn't help but get the sharp shadows.
Can't make up for Vandanas droplets, but doing my bit to ease the macro withdrawals of dp'ers

Golden Gate at dusk
Went to Pt.Reyes light station today and on the way back, stopped by Golden Gate bridge. This shot was taken minutes before a huge fog bank hit the bridge.

BIF
My first serious attempt at birding was a disaster. This is about the only one that came reasonably in focus with atleast a little bit of detail :(

Colorful Canvas
Started off with the idea of using these as a backdrop for a different subject. Ran out of time and had to make do with this shot.

Smoke on the water
Actually, it's 'Fire in the Sky'. But that would be a boring caption now, wouldn't it? :)
A desperation shot - didn't have time for anything else today. Didn't even post-process this - straight from the camera.

Park Night, Bark Night
A handsome pup + A fast, sharp lens = My favorite picture in a while.
And I love the in-body image stabilization - this was taken hand-held!
Took this shot just a second before the lights in the park were switched off. Looks like I'm getting back into shape thanks to daily jogs with Linus.
