The night habitat
Was short on time and ideas - and chanced by the Green-horned Whitey again. Who knew they take out their light sabers at night :P

A second chance
The Green-horned whitey, a spectacular hydrant long thought to be extinct, has been found alive in North America, Science magazine reports. The news has stunned hydrantologists worldwide, with some comparing the discovery to finding the dodo. Researchers began an intense week-long search after a tip-off before finally capturing the hydrant on camera in its natural habitat. The find has ignited hope that other "extinct" hydrants may be clinging on to survival in isolated places....

YAPUI
Stands for 'Yet Another Piece of Useless Information' :)
I was looking at my fingers today and was mildly surprised to discover that I could tell whether a finger belongs on the right hand or the left hand just by looking at those spiral pattern ridges used for finger printing. Before long, I discover that it's easy to identify any of the 10 fingers by just looking at the spirals. You just have to try.
And no, this ain't the birdie :)

Abandoned
Can't imagine why anyone would give up a cabin set in such spectacular surroundings.

Close Quarters
My first ever collage!
I was going through some accumulated change, when I noticed quarters from different states. Before long, I was sorting them out and found quarters from 35 different states. Not all of them were shot at the same time, so they look a bit off in the collage.
Here are the individual quarters pictures

On solstice
This very day last year, I was at Arctic Circle - the Sun never set for the day and I had a whale of a time. Today I was stuck at work and couldn't even step out until after the Sun went down. All I could do was go through those pics again and try and relive those moments. I can't wait to take a vacation...
Here's the pic I was looking at on the monitor
