Ubiquitous
A rather low energy shot. These little buggers found their way into the house somehow and are roaming all over the place.. For once I didn't get annoyed with them.

Shimmer
Sun plays hide and seek with clouds and mountains late evening.

I see you
Found a
grass hopper on window blinds. Wanted to see how close he'd let me before getting spooked and fly off. I can barely begin to see the compound structure of the eye at full resolution. Interesting how he had his eyes on the lens the whole time I was sneaking close :)

Chow time
Shot through the window glass, so low contrast and less detail. Figured I might as well make it more interesting by making a puzzle out of it :)

Synchronicity?
Do you think this concept will work for
Dgrin challenge?
Here's another paint drop (sharper) with different colors on the inside and outside.
Even I'm getting bored of trying the same thing again and again - this'll be the last of paint drops for now. There are still a lot of ways I can improve on this, but for now its curtains. I've to come up with some other idea that can be tried indoors at crazy hours in the night for the next one week before work calms down a little!

Yet another splash
Figured, if a
tack drop could give such a nice bubble, then an apple drop could only give a bigger and better bubble right? I vaguely recall seeing a TV Advertisement that shows a lemon dropped into water this way. And since I didn't have any lemons handy, an apple had to do. Ways to go before this one starts looking nice...

Thought this architecture on a local Methodist Church looked interesting.

Splash
Orange on the outside, Blue on the inside!
Tried to get more such two-toned crowns and got some interesting patterns
here
Aside, this week has been crazy at work and the next week will be crazier. Which means you may have to endure indoor shots and repetitive ideas for these two weeks :(

Crown Royale
Was trying to get a crown of two different colors. Wish it was sharper and more in focus, but this is a promising beginning I think. Had to get different paints, thin them down to the point where they'd actually give a crown instead of a blob, and set up lighting to not give harsh shadows but still enough light for a fast shutter.
This picture on photo.net was the inspiration for the shot.
