Hope Valley is located in the California Sierra Nevada Mountains along HWY 88, about 35 minutes south of South Lake Tahoe.
A quick weekend ride there in search of fall colors (a relative rarity in California) yielded these pictures. One weekend too early, but wasn't terribly disappointing.
